rachel dunne

My desire is to create a nurturing, safe and judgment-free space for my clients to feel seen, understood and valued, and to validate their experience-no matter what that may be going through or have gone through in the past.

I believe that a healthy and attuned therapeutic relationship is one of the most important components of therapy, and it is through a person-centered approach that I can help my clients feel safe to explore their inner landscape and create the self-awareness and self-compassion needed for true and lasting transformation.

I value a holistic view of mental health and believe that effective therapy addresses the whole person, including the physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional aspects of each client. I also use aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Logotherapy to help my clients recognize the relationship between negative thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and to find meaning and purpose in the suffering that is an inevitable part of the human experience.

As a certified stepfamily coach for the past three years, I have a strong passion for educating the community about the unique struggles of blended families, and most importantly, helping these families find “peace and purpose in the chaos of blended family life.”

My areas of interest include Child/Adolescent, Adult, Anxiety & Trauma, Blended families.
