KARLA S. HARDIN
Karla S. Hardin holds a Masters in Science from Mississippi College in Mental and Behavioral Health. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years experience in the field of counseling and coaching in both Mississippi and Alabama. She practices counseling only in Fairhope, AL, but hosts occasional workshops in Jackson, MS.
Karla is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC); a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, and Certified Havening Practitioner – a psycho-sensory technique based on the neuroscience of how trauma is stored in the brain. She is also a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider (CMHIMP) and a professionally trained facilitator in the Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator and the Enneagram.
In addition to counseling, Karla is a sought after speaker in both educational arenas and faith-based communities focusing on trauma, parenting and women’s issues. Karla serves on the Advisory Board of the Department of Psychology at Columbia Southern University. She also has been an interview coach in all settings - ranging from corporate advancement to college scholarship programs for over 15 years.
